Globes are 10 inches in diameter with a 3.91 inch outside diameter solid flange, the are made to fit a standard 4 inch inside diameter post top fitter and are held in with set screw. Globes are one piece injection blow molded with UV inhibitors. Please see diagram.
Q:
I have a New Orleans style 5 light lamp post. The measurements around the globe are 31 but doing the inside of the globe method with the measuring tape they are 10". Is this 10" globe the correct size to order and can they be returned if incorrect? Thank you.

Hello and thanks for your question. Yes, that sounds like a 10 inch globe. Once you measure around the globe at the widest part, you can divide by 3.14 to get the diameter. You can return the globe if it doesn't fit. You'll be responsible for the return shipping and a 20% restocking fee.
